Cheshire and Merseyside area MVT attended the Hooton park open day to celebrate the opening of hangar 16 after its renovation and now containing a collection of historic vintage aircraft.

The weather was great with sunshine most of the day and temperatures in the low 20’s c, we had a good turn out of military vehicles, historic buses, re-enactors, radio control boats and vehicles on display, Vesper scooter club, trade stalls and even the PM turned up, Winston Churchill that is, and gave us a rousing speach.

The car parks were full to over flowing and we must have had over 2,000 people on site, what a great turn out.
