How to affiliate to an MVT Area or change the Area you are affiliated to.

You can affiliate to any MVT  area, this means you can attend the area meetings and support that MVT area. As an affiliated member you can have your say and vote on any issues raised at the meeting. There are over 30 areas across the country, so there will be one not far from you.

At the local Area meetings you will find a group of like-minded vehicle enthusiasts. Between them there will be a wealth of knowledge that you can tap into. Areas will also attend locally organised events.

To affiliate to an MVT Area firstly you must be a current member of the MVT. If you are not already a member of the MVT or your membership has expired please click on this link to join the MVT or renew your membership of the MVT.

Once you are a current member of the MVT you need to set up your account in Sentinel, this is how you pay for your MVT membership online, you may have already done this and have your login details already, don’t lose them you are going to need them later.

Firstly click on this link to login to your MVT Sentinel account, enter your email and password you set the account up with and then press the login button.

Once logged into your Sentinel account you can see important information like your MVT Membership number and also the date your membership will expire.

To set up your area affiliation look on the upper right hand side at the top of the page where it says your name and click the curser on it, you will see a drop down menu appear, click on Data details.

Here you will see the information you have given to the MVT to enable your membership, please remember if you change your address, name, telephone number or most importantly your email address you can update them here. It is your responsibility to keep your account information up to date by logging in here and changing it if necessary, if you do change anything please don’t forget to click on the update details button on the bottom right of the page before logging out.

Once you have logged in you will see your name and address as you scroll down the page and right at the bottom you will find the Affiliation box, if you have already set up an area affiliation it will be shown in the box already, if not click on the box and a drop down menu will give you a list of all our current areas, please choose one by clicking on it then click on the update details button and then log out by clicking on your name, top right hand corner, then click on log out on the drop down menu.

Congratulations you have now set up your area affiliation, if you don’t want to affiliate to an area you can set your affiliation to National affiliation instead.
